Snore no more: InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa Redefines Sleep

  • 85% of Aussies say they or their partner snore while on holiday
  • InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is launching the Sweet Dreams Package on World Sleep Day (13 March) to tackle snoring
  • The limited-edition package is complimentary and includes a Sleep Kit, created in partnership with The Goodnight Co. and zzzZone, and more

11 March 2026, Australia - This World Sleep Day, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is tackling one of the most common and least talked about holiday disruptors: snoring.

Launching 13 March 2026, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa introduces the Sweet Dreams Package, a complimentary, limited-edition, sleep-focused experience designed to help guests rest more deeply and make the most of their holiday.

New research commissioned for the campaign highlights just how widespread the issue is, with 85% of Australians saying they or their partner snore while on holiday, and 58% reporting it has negatively impacted their trip. For many, the disruption goes beyond a poor night’s sleep as 31% say their partner’s snoring regularly wakes them while travelling, contributing to fatigue, irritability and reduced holiday enjoyment.

In fact, poor sleep has now emerged as the second biggest stressor when travelling, underscoring how essential quality rest is to a positive holiday experience. Yet despite this, snoring remains difficult to talk about, with 35% of Australians avoiding the topic altogether, and others resorting to earplugs or separate beds, far from the dream escape many couples imagine.

With 97% of Australians saying sleep quality matters while on holiday, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa set out to create a solution that acknowledges the reality of shared sleep, without judgment or awkwardness.

“Sleep is often the first thing people sacrifice when they’re on holiday, yet it has one of the biggest impacts on how we feel,” said Shea Morrison, Founder of The Goodnight Co.

“Changes in routine, unfamiliar environments and sharing a room can all disrupt sleep, especially when snoring is involved. The Sweet Dreams Package is about normalising those challenges and giving travellers simple, practical tools that genuinely support better rest, so they can wake up feeling refreshed and actually enjoy their time away.”

A Sleep-First Holiday Experience

Designed as a minimum three-night escape, the Sweet Dreams Package is available to book via the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa Reservations team and is complimentary to mark World Sleep Day.

Guests can opt to book a pre-arrival sleep consultation with our qualified sleep expert, Shea Morrison of The Goodnight Co, receiving personalised guidance ahead of their stay. Guests will also enjoy access to the Infrared Sauna and Cold Plunge.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a Sweet Dreams Kit, created in partnership with The Goodnight Co., featuring:

Standard inclusions apply, including accommodation for two, daily breakfast, complimentary Wi-Fi and full access to all InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa facilities.

“Great holidays start with great sleep,” said Lachlan Walker, General Manager at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa. “We know shared sleep can be one of the biggest and quietest challenges for couples and families travelling together. The Sweet Dreams Package allows us to remove the awkwardness around snoring and offer something genuinely thoughtful, so guests can rest better, reconnect and make the most of their time in Fiji.”

The Sweet Dreams Package launches 13 March 2026 in celebration of World Sleep Day and will be available for a limited time.
