FNPF-owned IHG Fiji Hotels Continue To Raise Funds And Awareness for Fiji Cancer Society

Throughout October, the three hotels will activate various fundraising initiatives aimed to support the goal of a cancer-free Fiji.

6th October 2023 (Natadola, Fiji): In a continued commitment to supporting a cancer-free Fiji, three FNPF-owned IHG Fiji Hotels, including InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Grand Pacific Hotel, and Holiday Inn Suva are launching a series of fundraising initiatives throughout the month of October.

These initiatives aim to raise funds for the Fiji Cancer Society, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer through advocacy, awareness, and patient support.

INTERCONTINENTAL FIJI GOLF RESORT & SPA 

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is hosting a Pink Beach Party on Saturday 7th October 2023 featuring live entertainment, a fire show, and pop-up food and drinks. 10% of all ticket sales to the event will be donated to Fiji Cancer Society. 

Guests staying at the resort in October can savor a limited-time-only Pink Lady Cocktail at Kama Lounge, a classic gin-based concoction with citrusy notes shaken with grenadine, apple, and egg whites, with $5 from the sale of every cocktail being donated to Fiji Cancer Society.

For those seeking relaxation, the Pinktober Spa Journey at Spa InterContinental offers an invigorating Himalayan Salt scrub, providing natural exfoliation and a refreshed complexion. 10% of all sales from the Pinktober Spa Journey in the month of October will be donated to Fiji Cancer Society.

GRAND PACIFIC HOTEL

At Grand Pacific Hotel, a delightful array of Pinktober treats awaits guests in the month of October. GPH Bakery will offer Pinktober muffins and cakes adorned with pink ribbon decor, while the bar invites patrons to savor Signature Pinktober Cocktails, such as "Sweet Smile" and "Pink Mist."

The Spa at Grand Pacific Hotel will pamper visitors with the luxurious Pinktober Spa Bliss package, encompassing a foot ritual, full body massage, and Nama facial. 10% of sales of the delicious pink treats and cocktails, as well as the Pinktober Spa Bliss in the month of October will be donated to Fiji Cancer Society.

The iconic Grand Pacific Hotel will also be lit up in pink on Friday 13th October 2023, to bring awareness to Breast Cancer Awareness month signalling support.

HOLIDAY INN SUVA INITIATIVES

At Holiday Inn Suva, promoting a healthy lifestyle and supporting the Fiji Cancer Society go hand in hand. Guests are invited to savour a Beet Good Smoothie or indulge in the Healthy Chicken Salad wrap, both of which offer not only delicious flavors but also nourishing choices. 10% of sales generated from these wholesome options will be donated to the Fiji Cancer Society

Additionally, all three of IHG’s FNPF-owned Fiji Hotels will engage their colleagues in fundraising efforts throughout the month of October. Activities will include complimentary health checks for employees with the Ministry of Health and Medical Services and gold coin donation cans to fundraise. Colleagues will also have access to special menu items with healthy selections at the canteen, aligning with Fiji Cancer Society's Eat Right prevention messaging.
