5-course Food & Wine Menu

Foley Wines is a collection of iconic wineries and brands from New Zealand’s most acclaimed wine regions. Each with a unique story of New Zealand to tell, our wineries are linked by a common unrelenting purpose; to make great wine that people love to drink around the world  – made by land & hand.  

The event will be hosted by  our brigade of talented Chefs under the leadership of Executive Chef David Bell.

The 5-course tasting menu will showcase the below food & wine matches: 

1st Course | Canape | Riesling | ‘Roaring Meg’  

Smoke Salmon Tartare on Melba Toast 
Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls 
Mushroom Vol-au-vent 
Assorted Sushi with Condiments 

2nd Course | Pinot Gris | Mt Difficulty 'Bannockburn' 2021 

CHICKEN AND PISTACHIO ROULADE
Roast Free range chicken on apricot puree, mixed leaves and lemon
VUDA PORK BELLY 
Oven baked pork, cauliflower, vanilla pear & balsamic 

3rd Course | Chardonnay | Martinborough Vineyard ‘Homeblock’ | TK Estate  

CEVICHE OF SNAPER 
bush lemon cured reef snapper, jalapeno chilli, cucumber & crisp tortilla    
RAVIOLI 
Pumpkin & cream cheese ravioli, sage and butter sauce with macadamia nut    

4th Course | Pinot Noir | Martinborough Vineyard ‘Homeblock’ | ‘Mt Difficulty’ Bannockburn  

RED CURRY DUCK 
Local duck braised in a mild Fijian curry, with lychees, bean shoots and rice. 
MUSTARD BEEF ROAST 
Beef fillet roasted on honey glace heirloom carrots, truffled soft polenta and jus 

Finale | Late Harvest Riesling | ‘Mt Difficulty’  

COCONUT PANACOTTA  
topped with pineapple compot, almond truille and local lemongrass syrup.
